My New Years Revolution

“What will you do in 2012?” Oh that’s a quiet tough question for me, but I’ll try to answer it. There are several an old and new dream that I’ve got for “My New Years Revolution”, I’d like to called it like that. Every each of it, I will add some sign for you to understand which is my old dream and my new dream. And I will always believe and sure that every each of my dreams whether it’s old or new will be accomplish on every New Year in each year, here is my dreams in 2012:

1.       Able to speak Dutch well enough, at least to know and understand what my families from Netherlands talk about when they visited to here every year (ND);
2.       Able to speak English in every accent (British, American, Canadian, or Australian), improve and increase my grammar, my vocabulary, my pronunciation, and my grades (I’ve got a “C” for four subject, can you believe that?!) (OD);
3.       Able to play a guitar and piano well enough, at least for performing some Owl City’s song when there’s some kind a talent show in my campus. Maybe after that play a bass and drums, or any other instruments that Adam Young can play. I want to be a great multi-instrument and musician like him (OD);
4.       Want to get a job and earn some money by myself. After that I want to taste the money from my own work. But not literally, I’m not a lunatic (ND);
5.       Want to make my parents and my families proud me, as always (OD);
6.       Want to know and understand how to make music through MIDI (especially, an electronic music just like Owl City) in my laptop (ND);
7.       Finally, last but not least. I want to be a better person than before, as a son (an oldest son at that), a brother (an oldest brother at that too), a cousin and a friend for all the people who important and related to me. I just want to make them happy when they around me, that’s it (ND).

That’s all my dreamt that I believe and I’m sure I will accomplish next year. According to my teacher, Mr. Angga. He said that every of us have to made some kind a list that we’ll always look at it and then in the deep down believe it that all the things is in that list will be accomplish in no time if we keep believe it will accomplish, that’s how universe work man. It will come nearer to us if we kept believe it will happen, you can see and learn about all that things in some dvd entitled “The Secret”, I have watch it with my teacher and my friends in a class about one years ago. I’ll try to do that next year in 2012, thanks for the advice Mr. Angga. In 2012, I will change not to be a new person, but the more clearer person that I am before. And in my journey to do that, I need a God, families, and friends to make me able to do all those things that I wanted to do in next year. See you next year, Redy.

P. S: (ND) is for New Dream, and (OD) is for Old Dream.

A Paper Bird brought A Pray

A Paper Bird

Paper Bird, is one of the many kind of origami. Origami itself is come from Japanese words that mean the art of folded paper (pretty much). Since I was in elementary school, I have been learned how to make an origami. I can make any other kind of origami, except this one. This is one I thought is quiet difficult that the others, it more flip here and there, fold here and there, push up and down, pull up and down, and so on. But, some of my friends can make a “Paper Bird” in no time, I mean it’s really fast. Perhaps, they have pay attention when the teacher told how to make it. Unlike me, who maybe not really pay attention at that time. But, the thing is I really like this particular shape. I think it’s a masterpiece of the art in the paper. Not it’s in written form, but it’s in folded form. For example goes like this, the masterpiece of paper it’s in written form is a holy book for religion Islam that written by The Great Prophet of Muhammad from the vision of Allah to Him which is The Holy Qur’an. And I thought, the masterpiece of paper it’s in folded form is this Paper Bird. Yeah, you know what I mean.

However, the thing that I want to talk about right now is about the magical and wonderful of The Paper Bird is. A friend of mine ever told me that in Japan a Paper Bird like this has a pray for each of it, they will set a Paper Bird free (literally) and let the pray fly to the skies and hope it will be answered. I mean, how magical and wonderful is that? That’s why I called it “The Masterpiece of Paper in a folded form”, cause from every each of it has a pray from all the different people. Imagine, if all the people in the world make a Paper Bird and add a pray in it, and then we’re make them fly using a balloon or something else that can fly and float in the sky. Oh my God, that’s the dream. I’m sorry that I sounds a little bit gooey and cheesy in here, but it’s just the fact. At least, according to my opinion.

So, would you like to teach me how to make a “Paper Bird”? :D

The Place that I want to visited in Indonesia: First Episode

There are a lot of place in Indonesia that I want to visited, because this our beloved country had many beautiful place and spot that have been famous in around the world. For example: First, there’s a Raja Ampat regency in West Jaya New Guinea, that place is has been famous around the world by the beauty of the caves and nature rocks in there. Second, there’s a Bali island. Who don’t know about this famous island in Indonesia? Even mostly the people thought that Indonesia is just Bali, but I want to clear it that it’s wrong! The waves in Bali known as the most biggest waves in the world, it’s a heaven for a surfing-lover. The point is, Indonesia has many beautiful island, it’s not just Bali actually. Do you think that Indonesia is being called “A thousand of Island” for nothing? Go ahead, experience by yourself. Be my guess, please.

Back to the main topic, “The Place that I want to visited in Indonesia”. But I want to tell you this though, it is defined and based on what am I hearing about these place. Every each of it I regard as a target that I have to achieve in my life. The first place that I want to visit is, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam. Why do I put this province that in 1956 called “The Special Territory of Aceh” then it changed in 2001 into a “Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam” in the first place? For, Indonesian people this place has been called “Serambi Mecca” or in the other word is a direction for us (Indonesian people) from here (Indonesia) to Mecca, or in the other mean it’s a “kiblat” from Indonesia for Indonesian people. It is proved when there’s a tsunami in Desember 2006, and then the great mosque of Baiturrohman in there are not broken even the single damage while the other building around that mosque it’s broken by the tsunami. It is obvious that Allah want to protect that holy mosque, cause a mosque is house of Allah. I didn’t believe it in the first place, but when I see the photo in the internet, it is really unbroken. Ya Allah, that’s an example of The Greatness of Allah SWT. Allahuakbar! So, I always willing to visit there and watch it with my own eyes. But not just only because of it that makes me want to visit this most difficult area language that must learned by the Dutch colonial, it’s also the food that has many rich ingredients till makes that food delicious, the culture that very rich and Islamic which interested for me, and so on. Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, I love you.

The Mosque of Baiturrahman, Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam.

 And then the second place that I want to visit is, The Special Territory of Yogyakarta. Why do I put this province that fulfill with the people that some people said that “It’s the oldest people in Indonesia” which is Javanese people in the second place? The first thing that I like about Yogyakarta is their food called “Gudeg”, I think it’s the most delicious food in Indonesia after “Rendang” from Padang, West Sumatera. Gudeg is made from a part of jackfruit, but I don’t which part is cause I can’t make a Gudeg, I just like to eat it. The point is that food is really delicious man, trust me. And another thing that I like about Javanese people is they have defend their culture and art through the generation to generation, and they lead by the person who being respect by all Javanese people named “Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono” , he’s been lead Javanese people for a long time. But, I heard that some Javanese people is a pretentious snob and arrogant because they still effected some kind a caste in society that different a people who is a royal family or not. That’s one thing that I don’t like from the Javanese people. And there’s one thing that Yogyakarta have that from any other place in Indonesia doesn’t have, it’s Prambanan Temple which is one of the finest temple in Indonesia. And my mom ever told me that when I was 3-years-old, me and my parents have been to some beach in Yogyakarta, she told me that I was really enjoy playing in the sand like building a sandcastles or any other kid would do in the sand. As much I really enjoying it, until I even don’t want to go home yet, but you know it’s time for me and my parents to go home and I was crying while I leaving Yogyakarta at that time. I never go to Yogyakarta ever since, so the reason that I want to visit there again is I want to make a new memories about this time that I will cherish it in the future like I cherish the memory of mine in the past. See you later, Yogyakarta.

The Temple of Prambanan, Yogyakarta.

 To be honest, there are so much place that I want to visited in Indonesia. But I guess the rest of it will coming soon later. Well, see you soon in the next episode of “The place that I want to visited in Indonesia”

Happy Mother’s Day

First of all, I want to say “Happy Mother’s Day” to all of mother in the whole world, especially for my beloved mother…you’re the greatest mother in the whole world…!!! I love you, mom. Every year in Desember 22, we’re celebrating the special day that only dedicated to the most lovely person in our life which is our mother. For me personally, Mother is the most important person in my life. I can’t imagine my live without her. She’s my hero, she’s my idol, and she will always be the person that I loved the most in the world. A mother risked everything and anything to make us come to this world, I’m just saying. So, we have to appreciate and respect her just as much as she sacrifice everything and anything that she got for us. Why do we have to do that? Here’s why…

First, at the time that she have been pregnant with us. A nine months could be less or could be more, she feels an extraordinary pain in the stomach cause she’s carrying a “baby” that literally a human being in her stomach, Oh My God. Second, at the time that she will born us. “The Chronicles of Life and Death” is going on at that moment, she risk her live to giving a birth for us to see the world. Our whole lifetime is cannot be enough to redeem her dedication to us, it really is.

The point is, the dedication of a Mother is beyond than you can ever think and imagine. There’s not enough “thank you” and ”I love you” to express my feeling to her, you are my world… Thank you for all the sacrifice and dedication that you gave to me, mom. I love you.

I think I'm fell in love with an Asian-look girls, again.

I use to like a Japanese, Chinese, Korean or in the other word Asian girls since I was in high school. I can sure about that cause my ex-girlfriend look like one of Korean girl band member that really famous by now. I didn’t notice it at the first time, but when I first saw that Korean girl band member…I’m a 100% sure that she’s my ex-girlfriend doppelganger. But when we break up, I’m a little bit upset to the Asian-look girls. That’s because my ex-girlfriend is cheating on me with her ex-boyfriend that frankly she’s still in love with through my phone that I gave to her cause her phone was taken by the teacher at high school, damn you son of a bitch! Anyhow, that was a long time ago. I already forget about that, sort of.

I swear to God, my ex-girlfriend are look exactly like her! Yoona from SNSD.
Oh man, my ex-girlfriend are korean girl band member! Damn, I like it! :)

This is another Asian-look girls that I like, she's from China. Her name is Xia Da, her age are about 25 but she looks 15. It's magical isn't? :D
Another photo of Xia Da.
 Since then, I vow to myself that I would never fell in love or even approaching to the Asian-look girls again. But, right now it all change when I first saw Aelke Mariska. She’s  a beautiful-pretty-cute-adorable girl in the commercial “Pocari Sweat”, and now she’s playing in Indonesian-Influenced by Korean drama television program, “Cinta Cenat Cenut” with SM*SH. When I first saw the “Pocari Sweat” commercial, I ask to myself: Is she a Japanese actress? Cause she definitely look like a Japanese actress, and that commercial is my favorite commercial ever! ;). And last Saturday I just saw her in “Cinta Cenat Cenut,” OMG she looks super cute and adorable! I guess she’s the reason that I will watch that program every Saturday at 8:30PM in Trans TV. Well If I have a chance to see her and say something to her, I would ask for take a photo with her and I would say to her that “You’re beautiful-pretty-cute-adorable girl in my favorite commercial, and you restore my vision of your kind (an Asian-look girls).” Good luck, Aelke Mariska. I’m sure you would be a famous artist in here or maybe in the world! God bless you.

This is the girl who restore my vision of Asian-look girls, Aelke Mariska.

I really fell in love with an Asian-look girls again...!!! ;)
In conclusion, she’s remind me how wonderful the Asian-look girls are, well you know beside one of them which is my ex-girlfriend who cheating on me. But I’m sure not all of them are like that right? I believe there are many an Asian-look girls who will be truthful and never be cheating in a relationship. So, my vision of Asian-look girls are changing right now because of her. I think I’m fell in love with an Asian-look girls, again.
