The Things That Got Me Thinking To Do

Today when I’m in my trip to go to Bandung from Purwakarta after I visited my family in there, when I’m in a bus I played a Coldplay’s song in my Blackberry using a headset the whole trip and actually got me thinking about two things. First, maybe I should shave my hair like Chris Martin, so my hair will be exactly look like his hair when its grow. I mean I’m not joking, Chris Martin and I have a similar hair which is curly or wavy. But when our hair is short it doesn’t really look curly or wavy, it just looks like…a short hair should looked, you know what I mean? It’s not look like some kind a noodle hair…yeah my friend always calling me “noodle hair”, when my hair starts to growing into a curliness. The only different between his hair and mine is that his hair is a bit brown and blonde, but mine is all black. His hair is just look ordinary and not too much style if I observed, but I think it’s nice…it’s casual actually, it’s so British…brilliant!

Okay, that’s the first thing that got me thinking when I played a Coldplay’s song in my Blackberry using a headset. The second thing is about a program that I recommended to do in my campus, The English Day which is Monday and Thursday. This is a program that I willing to do in my campus organization from generation to generation, so it’s a little-bit-lot of pressure for me to continue and make this program keep alive and working it on successfully from one generation to the next generation. It’s my duty as a committee, and my duty is my responsibility. I don’t want to let down my brother/my leader, especially I respect him so much…he’s a good leader, thank you for trusting me brother… Lately, this program is not going well as I hope…in fact, it’s not going at all. But tomorrow, I will make sure that this program “Insya Allah” will be keep going on, I vow to myself that I will speak English for a day tomorrow to show that tomorrow is The English Day! Well, except when I want to order some food in a cafeteria…cause I think they don’t speak English well enough to understand when I speak English to them, no offense ladies and gentlemen. Yeah! I’m gonna do it! Why am I gonna do it? Cause I’ve got a revelation when I’m in a bus earlier today that says: “Some people will not follow something that you ask for them to do unless you do that thing that you ask for, to show to other people that you’re doing that thing that you’ve been asking for them to do”. If you’re not doing something that you ask for them to do, then don’t expected the other people will doing it, they would like: “You’re the person that want us to do something that you ask for, but you are yourself not doing it, then for what we’re doing something that you’ve been ask for us to do but you are yourself not doing it?” Get it? See my point here? If you haven’t got it and see my point yet here, I will give you an example.

The Great Prophet of Muhammad SAW doing every single value that able in The Holy Al-Koran while he’s doing some activities as a trader, while he’s doing a journey, and et cetera. My point is while he declare his religion which is Islam, he’s also doing something which is a value from the holy book that basically something that The Great Prophet want us to do, and sure enough he’s doing it. Well, no wonder we’re all (Muslim) doing everything that he does from The Holy Al-Koran until now. He’s not just declare his religion and not doing every value that Allah SWT give to him, he show and practice every single value that able in The Holy Al-Koran so we could learned and followed his teach to survive in the world and the beyond. Thank you so much for all your teaching, all praise and glory to Allah SWT and Muhammad SAW to whom I owe everything. Amin.
